This Covid 19 pandemic has seen young people hit the hardest, currently there are 22,000 young people aged 16-24 who are either unemployed or not in education and with covid 19 these numbers are set to rise. We need to do all that we can to save our future generations of a life of struggling, poverty and benefits.
Here at Brave Strong Beautiful we understand the needs of youth today and we want to offer a life line to young people, by providing opportunities to gain an svq2 in hairdressing and a trade skill for life.
We want to help young people who are most disadvantaged and over the next 2 years we aim to open our 2nd Salon providing training, support and employment to 20 young people.
We are really excited to have just won the Scottish Edge Award for Social Enterprise and this will allow us to scale up and open our second larger salon.
However we really need your support, please continue to support our cause by having your hair treatment with us and by doing this you are making a massive contribution to their success. With your support and understanding you are helping make a difference to our trainees lives and helping to change their story. We have young people who have really challenging backgrounds and are dealing with trauma but are still determined and strong enough to keeping going and make something of their lives.
